The long-standing feud between Bollywood actor Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek has often made headlines, with the two not speaking for almost seven years. Their disagreements, and those of Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja with Krushna and his family, frequently surfaced in interviews. However, recent signs suggest that the rift between them is finally healing, as the pair appeared together on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show, and Govinda also attended Arti Singh’s wedding, offering his blessings to the newlyweds.

Despite these signs of reconciliation, Govinda’s daughter, Tina Ahuja, has spoken candidly about the family’s troubled relationship. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Tina described the situation as “toxic,” acknowledging the difficulties within their family dynamic. She explained, “It is kind of toxic. I will not lie and I have said this to Arti as well. I will always try to keep myself away from it.” Tina further added, “To be very honest, I am very happy in my life. I don’t speak about all these things. I think it’s past now and I don’t want to talk about it again and again. This is not needed. Things are good, decent, respectful.”

For several years, Krushna Abhishek would deliberately avoid attending events where Govinda was present, including skipping episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show whenever the veteran actor appeared. The family’s reconciliation seemed to gain momentum after a reunion at Arti Singh’s wedding, though Sunita Ahuja, Govinda’s wife, did not attend the event or publicly comment on the mended relationship.

In a recent Kapil Sharma Show episode, Govinda reflected on the reasons behind their fallout and shared his thoughts on Krushna’s role in the conflict. The actor revealed that he had been upset with some of the dialogues Krushna was asked to perform, but it was his wife, Sunita, who advised him to take a step back. “Sunita told me, ‘The entire industry works like this. Don’t blame Krushna; he’s just doing his job. Let him earn his living. Don’t stop or harm anyone,’” Govinda recalled. He added that Krushna should apologize to Sunita for the pain caused, emphasizing how much she genuinely cared for him.

While tensions have eased, Tina’s comments remind the public of the complex and painful nature of family dynamics and the ongoing journey of healing within the Ahuja-Abhishek family.
