On May 15, Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja was seen visiting Mahakal Temple in Ujjain to worship Lord Mahakal. She sought blessings at the temple. Later she shared pictures of her darshan on Instagram. However, Sunita’s visit landed her in trouble.

During her visit, she was seen carrying a handbag to the temple’s sanctum sanctorum (garbha griha). It is reported that carrying bags inside the temple is prohibited. But Govinda’s wife seemed to have gone against the rules.

In the picture, everyone saw that Sunita carried her handbag inside the sanctum sanctorum. It made everyone wonder how no one from the security team stopped her from entering the temple when she broke the major rule. In one picture, she posed with one of the priests of the temple while carrying the handbag. On her Instagram, Sunita posted a picture of herself. She captioned it, “Had a wonderful darshan at Mahakal ujjain.”

A media portal reported that after the questions were raised on security, the matter was raised with the temple authority. The temple administrator Sandeep Soni said the security team did not see Sunita as they were busy at the gate. He said that it is their responsibility to make sure no one carries bags inside.

Moreover, Soni said that the action has been taken against the security who did the fault in the first place. He said that further action will be taken after watching the CCTV footage. However, Sunita Ahuja has not given any reaction regarding the issue.
