Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan visited the home of the late Sidhu Moosewala to convey his congratulations to the family on the birth of a baby boy.
The visit came nearly two years after the singer’s tragic demise in Punjab. Gurdas Maan termed the occasion as “a significant day filled with joy” as he extended his heartfelt wishes to the proud parents.
During a media interaction, Gurdas Maan remarked, “Today marks a significant and joyous occasion. The family is overwhelmed with happiness. The birth of a child has brought solace to Sidhu Moosewala’s parents, offering them a source of strength to move forward. I pray for the continued health and well-being of the parents and the newborn. Sidhu’s fans are also rejoicing on this special day.”
Sidhu’s father shared a post on his official Facebook page, announcing the arrival of their late rapper’s younger brother. Media reports indicate that Sidhu’s mother underwent in vitro fertilization therapy (IVF) to conceive the baby.
Previously, Balkaur Singh had refuted rumors about his wife’s pregnancy at the age of 58 and urged everyone not to believe speculations.
In a Facebook post, he expressed gratitude to Sidhu’s fans for their concern but emphasized the need to refrain from believing unfounded rumors. He assured that any significant updates regarding the family would be shared directly with everyone.
Sidhu Moosewala, aged 28, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2022, in Mansa. The assailants targeted him with a barrage of gunfire, unleashing over 30 rounds.
Despite his bid for political office in the last Assembly election from Mansa on a Congress ticket, Sidhu was defeated by AAP’s Vijay Singla.
