The two first met during a talent hunt contest in 2006. Gurmeet was a friend of Debina’s roommate’s boyfriend, so he often used to visit her house. Debina and Gurmeet worked together in 2008 in the TV serial ‘Ramayana’. In this serial, They played the role of Ram and Sita and Audience loved them so much.
From then the love story of both was started and this small screen couple got married in real life. Let us tell you, Gurmeet proposes to Debina for marriage on the sets of the TV show ‘Pati-Patni Aur Woh’.Gurmeet offered Debina a diamond ring after she said yes. Later, both of them got married on 15 February 2011.
2 girls have been adopted
Gurmeet Chaudhary adopted two girls Pooja and Lata living in Jairampur village of his hometown Bihar in 2017. In the beginning, both of the girls lived with Gurmeet’s brother and sister-in-law in Patna and studied there for a year but In 2018, Gurmeet and Debina brought them to their home in Mumbai. Gurmeet and Debina used to visit Patna to meet Pooja and Lata 3 to 4 times a year.
