Hansika Motwani’s Brother Accused Of Domestic Violence By Wife, FIR Filed

Actress Hansika Motwani, known for her roles in popular films, finds herself embroiled in a family controversy. Her brother, Prashant Motwani, has been accused of domestic violence by his wife, television actress Muskan Nancy James. The allegations extend to Hansika and their mother, Mona Motwani, with all three named in an FIR lodged at the Amboli Police Station.

According to reports by News18, the charges include Sections 498-A (cruelty by husband or relatives), 323 (causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code. The complaint alleges that Hansika and her mother repeatedly interfered in Muskan’s marriage, leading to irreparable damage to the relationship.

Muskan further accused her husband of domestic abuse, claiming it resulted in her developing Bell’s palsy, a medical condition causing partial facial paralysis. She also alleged that the Motwani family demanded expensive gifts and money and were involved in fraudulent property dealings.

Speaking to ETimes, Muskan confirmed filing a case but refrained from commenting further, citing the matter’s sub-judice status. “I have sought legal assistance now. At this point, I am not at liberty to comment further,” she said.

For context, Muskan and Prashant tied the knot in 2020 but have been living separately since 2022. The actress has now decided to speak out about the alleged difficulties she faced during her marriage.

The allegations have drawn attention due to Hansika’s public profile as an actress. However, neither Hansika nor her family has issued a statement regarding the accusations at the time of writing.
