HanuMan director Prasanth Varma recently shared a post on X (formerly known as Twitter). In his post, Prasanth revealed that his film has been a victim of propaganda.

He further stated that there have been several fake accounts on social media that have been targeting his movie. These statements were made a few days after the distributor submitted a complaint to the Telugu Film Producers Council (TFPC) regarding unjust theatre practices. Prasanth expressed his gratitude to the fans for their love and support for the movie.

The Movie Has Been Targeted by Fake Accounts

Prasanth wrote on X, “I’ve encountered a significant amount of propaganda surrounding our team, along with the proliferation of fake profiles across social media. It seems like some of this digital debris has been forgotten to be thrown in yesterday’s Bhogi fire. However, I express my sincere gratitude to the cinephiles who offered their unwavering support and affirmed our belief that “The one who stands for Dharma will always win.”

He added, “Ultimately, #HANUMAN Kite is set to fly even higher this Sankranti, treading negativity to the depths below.”

Hanu Man

Hanu Man is an Indian Telugu-language superhero movie that was released in 2024. It was written and directed by Prasanth Varma and produced by Niranjan Reddy Kandagatla under Primeshow Entertainment. It stars Teja Sajja in the title role, alongside Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Vinay Rai. The movie takes place in the made-up village of Anjanadri.

In May 2021, the movie’s official announcement was made. In Hyderabad, principal photography started on June 25, 2021, and concluded in mid-April 2023. Sai Babu Talari handled editing for the movie, Dasaradhi Sivendra handled cinematography, while Anudeep Dev, GowraHari, and Krishna Saurabh created the music.

The movie centres around Teja Sajja, an ordinary man who gains superpowers and discovers his strength. With his new abilities, he sets out to defeat a supervillain and prove that good prevails over evil.
