Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is currently ruling the headlines. She settled down with her  longtime beau Salim Karim on October 1 in a private yet dreamy ceremony. The actress herself is posting a bunch of pictures from her wedding festivities.

Recently, Mahira shared some beautiful snaps featuring her and her friends enjoying at the fairytale affair. While some netizens gushed over the stunning looks of the ‘Raees’ actress, others began trolling her for the outfit she chose and for serving alcohol at the bash.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Mahira dropped multiple glimpses from the fun-filled evening she held before her marriage ceremony. For the night, the 38-year old actress wore a white lehenga adorned with red flowers. She paired it with a sleeveless matching blouse and a red polka-dot dupatta. Mahira kept it simple by completing the look with red bangles and tying her tresses in tight ponytail.

As soon as the diva posted gorgeous portraits, some of her followed started bashing her. A user wrote, “Hindu or what?” Another stated, “Farsh pe prha h libas lkn jism pe nhi kia faida mahira ji?” A third one penned, “Gorgeous outfit if only it had been a full top. Bit disappointing being a pakistani dressing like this”. A user also pointed out at how in one of the frames, Mahira’s friends are sipping alcohol and smoking. “Haraam get together. Mahira Khan took the plunge for the second time with CEO of the Pakistani startup Simpaisa Salim Karim on October 1, 2023. The couple hosted a white outdoor wedding at Murree, Pakistan.

During the nuptials, the duo got emotional and shed tears of joy on their union. A video shared by Mahira’s manager took the social media by storm. In the clip, Mahira was seen walking down the aisle towards her groom who was wiping off his tears on seeing his ladylove. As the video moves forward, Salim was captured lifting his bride’s wedding veil. and kissing on her forehead.
