Speaking about the feedback he garnered about ‘Weird: The AI Yankovic Story’, Daniel Radcliff said, “Honestly, the people whose opinions I cared most about the movie were my in-laws.” This Harry Potter alum further added, “They are huge Weird Al fans, and they kind of got me into it. But they were very happy, thank God.”
During the interview, the reporter referred to Erin Darke as his ‘wife’, saying that his ‘wife is a huge Weird Al Yankovic fan” Daniel didn’t correct her. However, the actor has not yet confirmed the marriage rumours.
Not The First Time
This isn’t the first time that Daniel Radcliff referred to Erin’s parents as parents. Previously, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he expressed his concerns about his family’s reaction to AI Yankovic and said, “After [director] Eric [Appel] and Al [Yankovic], the people I’m most concerned about their reaction are probably my in-laws, Erin’s dad and brother, because they’re massive fans as well. Erin’s seen the movie, but I’ll be interested in what Ian thinks. I hope he likes it.”
Earlier, he also shared about his parenthood and said, “I think a lot of people said: ‘Just get through the first six months and then after that, it gets better.’ But I’ve kind of enjoyed the first six months. don’t know what I imagined, honestly. But it’s great. He’s incredible, and I’m just in awe of my partner.”
