Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh and his wife, Hazel Keech are currently enjoying the best phase of their lives. The duo embraced parenthood for the second time as they welcomed their newborn daughter, Aura in August 2023. Recently, Hazel honestly opened up about her postpartum hair loss journey. She revealed that she had donated her hair for the wig of cancer-survivor kids.

Yuvraj Singh’s wife, Hazel Keech took to her IG handle on October 13, 2023 to share pictures of her new hair look. Revealing about the same, she mentioned chopping off her hair due to excessive hair fall. Additionally, she understood why newbie mothers cut their hair short due to the postpartum hairfall. In her words:

“I always noticed new mums cut their hair short and i never understood why. I later learned about postpartum hairfall, which must suck when you’re adjusting to a new reality of tiny humans who, like a motion sensor, cry or poop the moment you step into the bathroom.”

Furthermore, Hazel talked about her decision to donate her hair for wigs of cancer treatment. For the unversed, Hazel is currently residing in the UK, wherein she had opted to donate her hair to a trust that takes hair donation.

Her hair loss reminded Hazel about how Yuvraj Singh shared about his cancer- treatment  and how his hair fell off during the chemotherapy session. She wrote:

“I had decided when cut my hair short again id like to donate my hair to be made into wigs for people going through cancer treatments. My husband shared what it feels like to watch all his hair, eye lashes and eyebrows fall out while he was getting chemotherapy and how it really affects your self-esteem.”
