Even though the series is still trending on the OTT platform Netflix, the story of ‘Heeramandi’ has not resonated much with the audience. When Sanjay Leela Bhansali promoted his debut series, many stars attended the screening.

Recently, Bhansali shared that despite working with numerous stars, he has only one true friend in the industry.

Bhansali has worked with big stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, but he recently revealed that his friendly equation is only with Salman Khan.

He said: “Salman Khan is the only person with whom I am still friendly. ‘Inshallah’ didn’t happen, but he still stood by me. He called me, he cares about me. He asked me, ‘Are you okay, is something wrong? You messed up everything.'”

Bhansali Expressed: “I like his humor. He calls me once every three months or five months. He doesn’t care about the film, he cares about me. He says it doesn’t matter how many films we’ve done together, but are you okay? That’s all that matters to me.”

Bhansali continued, “We may have different views about work, or the timing wasn’t right, things didn’t work out, but a month later, he called me, I called him, and we talked. That’s what friendship is. I am lucky to have a friend with whom I can talk every six months. Our conversation picks up right where we left off.”

It’s worth mentioning that after films like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and ‘Saawariya,’ Bhansali and Khan were supposed to work together in ‘Inshallah,’ but due to creative differences, things didn’t work out between them.
