Then he went to Shahrukh Khan’s house Mannat to satisfy his hunger.

Actually, Anurag recalled his struggling days in the 90s and said that he was standing outside the set of Shahrukh’s 1998 film Duplicate. The director of Gangs of Wasseypur recalled that when he was hungry and had no money, he used to pick up director Mahesh Bhatt’s books. Recalling this, Anurag further said that he had known Shahrukh since his university days.

I will be able to dare to work with King Khan only when many of my films are successful.” Talking about work, Anurag Kashyap last directed Kennedy in 2023.
