Their on-screen pairing was well received by audiences. In a recent interview, Amrapali opened up about her past crush on Shoaib and also spoke about his marriage with actress Dipika Kakar.

Speaking with one of the podcasters, Amrapali admitted she had a huge crush on Shoaib Ibrahim during their serial days and often teased him along with others. She described Shoaib as someone who always gave the impression of being an ideal son, brother, and husband. Praising his professionalism, Amrapali recalled how dedicated Shoaib was towards his work.

Amrapali said, ‘Rain or shine, he would arrive on set 15 minutes before schedule, fully committed to his work’. When asked if she had ever proposed to him, Amrapali clarified that it was only a crush and nothing beyond that. She also revealed that her mother was very fond of Shoaib and even treated him like a son, often sending him home-cooked meals. On the subject of Shoaib’s marriage to Dipika Kakar, Amrapali addressed the common opinion that Dipika had “lost her identity” post-marriage.

Although Amrapali has never met Dipika in person, she said Dipika looks content with her husband, adding, “If she is happy with Shoaib, who are we to judge?” From television dramas like Saat Phere Saloni Ka Safar, Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein, and Mera Naam Karegi Roshan to becoming the highest-paid actress in Bhojpuri films, Amrapali Dubey’s career has been nothing short of inspiring.
