Rani Mukherjee – Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat

Rani Mukherjee’s film, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat in the year 1997 did not work out well for her. In the film, she portrayed a rape survivor. Though the film was not very successful at the box-office, her exemplary performance was noticed by the critics and now it has been 22 years since she has been in the industry and stunning everyone with her performance.

Kajol – Bekhudi

Bekhudi was a 1992 Bollywood film starring Kajol, Kamal Sadanah, Ajay Mankotia, Tanuja, etc. It was a debut film of Kajol. The film was not able to fare well at the box office and failed miserably. However, this did not affect the actress and due to her exquisite performance in her debut movie, she was signed for Baazigar (1993), a thriller by Abbas-Mustan, which emerged as a major commercial success making her reach the heights of success.

Katrina Kaif – Boom

Not many people know that Boom was the first film of Katrina Kaif. She was a last-minute replacement of model Meghna Reddy. Now the actress has made her place in the top artists of Bollywood. It could easily have been a game-changer for Katrina making her leave the Bollywood industry but, the actress stood strong and with extensive hard work and skills established herself in Bollywood.

Ranbir Kapoor – Saawariya

India’s heartthrob Ranbir was first seen in the film Saawariya with Sonam Kapoor. You must be remembering the towel scene since then. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the year 2007, Saawariya was Indian Romantic film which could not make much monet at the box office. However, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor went on to make it big and has now established himself in the industry.

Apart from Ranbir, the film Saawariya also marked the debut of actress Sonam Kapoor. The actress went on to give some great Bollywood blockbusters including Neerja. As of now, she is frequently credited as one of India’s most fashionable celebrities.
