Here’s what Jennifer Winget’s character in Bepannaah is all about! The actress reveals interesting details!

After swooning us all with her gripping psychopath in Beyhadh, Jennifer Winget is all set to come back with a bang on Indian television screens with her upcoming show Bepannaah. The show co-stars Harshad Chopra and Sehban Azmi opposite the gorgeous actress in the lead role. Bepannaah’s promo released recently and fans are already way too excited to her bring life to a new character.

The on-air date of the show has not been revealed yet but Jennifer recently spoke to a section of media and spilled some beans on her character in the upcoming show.
Speaking about the show, Jennifer said, “Moving on from Maya on Beyhadh, which has been, by far one of the most benchmark performances in my career as an actor, Bepannaah has been created as very different from it. Get prepared for a very unique and interesting love story about second chances, about the breaking of society’s perceptions and judgements. We don’t really have intense love stories nowadays on TV and with Bepannaah that is what we’re trying to do. It’s high on emotions and will be a show that anyone in love, both young and old, will relate to.”
“The script was too gripping to put down and will bring you unfamiliar, non-cliched and real sides to a love story that will keep you hooked to the storyline. All I can say is that it only gets better as it unfolds,” she further added.
That’s not all! Talking about her character Zoya, she revealed, “I play Zoya, a warm and sombre, cultured yet progressive Muslim woman who’s had the best life, a great upbringing and a blissful life with her husband. A certain incident changes all that for her and brings her to realise her strengths and weaknesses.”

Bepannaah will be Jennifer’s first show on Colors TV channel and also marks her reunion with Dill Mill Gaye director Aniruddha Rajderkar, who is also directing Bepannaah. “Bepannaah is close to heart more so as I will be working with my very dear friend, ace director, Aniruddha Rajderkar who conceived Bepannaah from scratch to finish. Aniruddha and I go way back, he also directed Dil Mill Gaye. To work with Cinevista yet again is just an added plus and the cherry on my cake. Bepannaah will also be my first venture with and entry into Colors as a channel and I am super excited about this journey. It was about time,” said Jennifer.

“Needless to mention my homework and prep for the character has begun full swing and I’m set to take this one a notch higher than the previous. Its upward and onward here on! Can’t wait,” Jennifer concluded.
All this sounds super exciting! After playing a badass in Beyhadh, we can’t wait to see her slay the role of Zoya in Bepannaah! What say? We think, just like all her other roles, she is gonna nail this one too!
