Despite recent reports of her divorce from veteran actor Govinda, Sunita Ahuja is focusing on her family and the next generation of Bollywood stars. While the couple’s manager and daughter, Tina Ahuja, have denied the divorce rumours, Sunita spoke to Eat Travel Repeat about her son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s upcoming debut and the success of other newcomers.

In the interview, Sunita was shown a fan’s comment that read, “Yashvardhan itna handsome hai. Saiyaara mein usse hi hona chahiye tha (Yashvardhan is so handsome, he should have been in Saiyaara).” She responded with pride, saying, “I wish. But he is doing a better film than that.”

Sunita also revealed that she hadn’t had the chance to watch Ahaan Panday’s debut film, Saiyaara, yet, but her son Yashvardhan has already seen it twice. “I haven’t seen it yet. Yash has seen it twice. I will watch it, I want to watch it,” she said, adding, “Best of luck to all the kids who are coming up. And I want all of them to earn a lot of fame.” On Rasha Thadani and Her Debut When asked about her bond with Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, Sunita shared that Yashvardhan is friends with her. She also revealed that she hadn’t had the chance to meet Rasha in person but did watch her debut film, Azaad.

“I have not met her yet, like ‘met her’ met her,” Sunita said. “But Raveena had called me to come to the trial. I was in Jaipur for a religious ceremony, so I told her I couldn’t come. But I went to the theatre and watched the film, I liked it. She’s a sweet girl. She reminds me of a young Raveena.”

While Ahaan Panday’s Saiyaara and Rasha Thadani’s Azaad have emerged as hits, Yashvardhan is now preparing for his own Bollywood debut in the remake of the Telugu film Baby.
