Actress Hina Khan has proven her talent on various platforms- TV, OTT and Films. Besides her acting, she is known for her badass attitude. The actress has never shied away from putting forward her views in a blunt way. Recently, Hina gave a befitting reply to an internet user who asked her to buy a blue tick for her social media handle ‘Twitter (now X)’ which she might have lost like several other celebs, after the micro-blogging site put a paywall against it.
Hina’s opinion on social media verification
It so happened that a netizen tweeted to the actress, “Blue tick khareed lo, warna account fake lag rha hai”. As soon as Hina noticed it, she went on to address the user. She penned a long note explaining him how work and popularity is much above the mere blue ticks.
In her reply to the netizen, the actress wrote that in a world where verification can be bought for a teen’s allowance, the line between genuine-fake and authentic-pretentious has blurred. She said that her hard earned achievements are her actual validations. They are not reliant on a blue tick. Even if Instagram retract her verification mark, she won’t bat an eyelid.
In addition to her response on Twitter, Hina shared her take on the same on her Instagram handle too where she poured her heart out in a detailed post. A part of it read, “I am not defined by a programmed computer’s validation, but by my labor, my journey, and my accomplishments.”
Hina’s work
Professionally, Hina Khan is all set to mark her Punjabi film debut with the film ‘Shinda Shinda No Papa’. She will star alongside Gippy Grewal in the movie.
The actress tasted fame with her portrayal of Akshara Singhania in daily soap ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Later, she bid adieu to the show and participated in ‘Bigg Boss 11’. Through the show, Hina showed a completely different side of hers to the audience and broke her image of a ‘quintessential bahu’. She also showed her brave personality in stunt-based reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 8’.
