The ceremony was made even more emotional when Macaulay Culkin was reunited with his on-screen mother, Catherine O’Hara, who played Kate McCallister in the first two Home Alone movies. The event was shared on the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s Instagram page, where fans expressed their love and nostalgia.

Keeping in mind the film that launched his career, Macaulay invited his on-screen mother, played by Catherine O’Hara in the film, to the momentous occasion. Fans of the film could not stop crying as photos and videos of the emotional reunion after three decades circulated online.

Catherine stated at the event, “Home Alone was, is, and always will be a global sensation.” Because of Macaulay Culkin, families all over the world can not go a year without watching and loving Home Alone together. Catherine even delivered a speech on the occasion, saying, “Macaulay, congratulations.” You truly deserve your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Macaulay Culkin Recreates Famous Dialogue

Macaulay decided to recreate his iconic dialogue from the film, which was directed at his fiance Brenda Song. “I would like to thank Brenda, you are absolutely everything,” he said as Brenda wiped away tears, adding, “You are my champion.” You are the only person who is happier for me today than I am.
