In a scene of the film, Hrithik and Deepika were seen kissing each other wearing Air Force uniform. Now Indian Air Force’s Wing Commander Soumyadeep Das, posted in Assam, has sent a notice to the star cast and director, objecting to this scene.
Wing Commander sent notice
Wing Commander Soumyadeep Das says that the kissing scene of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone is an insult to the Air Force uniform. He says that the Air Force uniform is not just a piece of cloth, but it is a sign of sacrifice, discipline and unwavering dedication to protect our country. In the scene, the actors can be seen as members of the Indian Air Force. It is wrong for him to do this in uniform.
The legal notice states that it is wrong to use this sacred symbol to show a romantic angle in the film. It devalues the dignity of the sacrifices made by countless soldiers in the service of our country. It also normalizes bad behavior in uniform, which sets a dangerous precedent against the responsibility entrusted to those who protect our borders.
The notice further states that officers wearing Air Force uniform being romantic in public is not only a violation of rules, but also reflects their characters and professional behavior in a wrong manner. Discipline and decorum are expected from Air Force personnel. This scene shows him being irresponsible and disrespectful towards his uniform and duty.
Apologize in public
Wing Commander Soumyadeep Das has demanded the makers of ‘Fighter’ to remove this scene. He also said that the makers should apologize to the Air Force and its soldiers in front of the world. He says that the film makers should give in writing that in future they will not disrespect the Air Force soldiers and uniforms in this way.
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter’ has been made by director Siddharth Anand. This film has collected Rs 350 crore worldwide. Its earning at the Indian box office has reached around Rs 178 crore. Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Anil Kapoor and other stars have played important roles in the film.
