Meanwhile, during a conversation with News 18 India, she said that not much has changed for her even after doing a film with Amitabh Bachchan. The actress, like many other TV actors, said that being a TV artist, she faced discrimination for films and web series. The actress said, “This still happens. It has been six-seven years since I have worked on TV, but I still get to hear it a lot. People use the term TV artist in a derogatory manner. TV has made me what I am today.’

The actress further said, ‘It has made me popular among the people, but I still hear things like ‘oh you are from TV, so it’s difficult to cast you’, but it doesn’t matter to me. I am from TV and I am proud of it. I really don’t understand why it is so difficult to come from TV to films.” The TV actress said that even today, when she goes to small towns, people call her Jeevika, or ask where is Maanvi. She further said that if a film actor is standing next to her, they might not even know her.

No matter what kind of pressure they are facing.” The actress said that her second feature film ‘Visfot’ came three years after her first film. She said that she believes that she has received fewer film offers because of the TV tag attached to it.
