‘Sacred Games’ fame Kubbra Sait has never shied away from speaking about her personal struggles, and she recently opened up once again about a deeply emotional chapter of her life. Appearing on Ashneer Grover’s reality show Rise and Fall, Kubbra revealed her past experience with an unplanned pregnancy and medical abortion, sharing how it affected her mental health and shaped her decision to remain child-free in the future.

During a candid conversation with fellow contestants, Kubbra admitted, “I don’t want children. I was never interested. When I was 30, I accidentally got pregnant and had an abortion. That phase was extremely difficult for me.” She went on to explain that the father of the unborn child showed no sense of responsibility, leaving her to make the decision alone.

When asked whether she was comfortable discussing such a private matter, the actress said she had already written about it in her book. “I sat with the man and he told me I could do whatever I wanted. At that moment, I thought, if he doesn’t care about me, what am I doing? How can I raise a child on my own? I had to ask myself if I was responsible enough to bring a life into this world,” Kubbra shared.

A fellow participant then questioned whether her choice would have been different if the man had agreed to be involved. Kubbra replied, “Then it would have been a completely different conversation. But at that time, I felt broken inside because I hadn’t shared this with anyone. I had to stay calm and deal with it by myself.” Reflecting on her childhood, Kubbra added that early experiences of abuse and a troubled family environment made her dependent on external validation. Kubbra said, “When you grow up in an imbalanced home, you look for support outside, whether it’s good or bad. You don’t think deeply, you just hold on. I fell, but I got up on my own”.
