‘I Did It’: Farah Khan Recalls Trolls Telling She Was Too Old To Get married, Have Kids!

Choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan is known for her witty responses. She has showcased her bluntly honest nature on multiple reality shows. In the past, Farah has opened up on getting trolled for marrying a guy younger to her. Recently, she addressed the same through an Instagram post.

Taking to her IG handle, Farah shared south sensation Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s advertisement. In the video, the actress is heard talking about the pressures a woman has to deal with in society. Alongside Samantha’s clip, Farah slammed those who ‘tried to bring her down’ as a choreographer, director, and a woman.

Farah penned, “After watching this film, I could not stop myself from recalling how many times I have been faced the commentary that tried to bring me down in my journey as not only a successful choreographer and filmmaker but also as a woman..”

Quoting what all she got to hear about her professional and personal life, Farah wrote, “‘You don’t dress like a Choreographer. You’re way too young to do this job. Women can’t make action films. You’re too old to get married. Too old to have kids…. Guess what? Here I am and I DID IT. I decided not to focus on what society had to say about me but put in the hard work to #RiseUpBaby! Love this narration by @pepsiindia and @samantharuthprabhuoffl #Collaboration.”

For the unversed, Farah Khan married filmmaker Shirish Kunder in 2004. Shirish is eight years younger to her. The couple welcomed their triplet kids- a son and two daughters – Diva, Anya, and Czar through in-vitro fertilization in 2008.
