There was a time when Govinda, who had made a name for himself in Bollywood, was rejected for the job of a steward. Despite being the son of a filmmaker, Govinda did not enjoy a luxurious life while growing up. His father Arun Kumar worked as an actor in many films in Bollywood and later he entered filmmaking. However, his film did not work and the family had to go through a very difficult time.

In the 1950s, film producers used to mortgage their houses and properties to invest money in their films and Govinda’s father did the same. As a result, the film flopped and Govinda’s father, who had his own luxurious house in Bandra, had to move to Virar, which is known as the outermost area of ​​Mumbai. In his old interviews, Govinda said that he was brought up like a normal child, and before becoming an actor, he was applying for regular 9-5 jobs.

When the anchor asked him about this, Govinda said, ‘I did not get this job because I could not speak English. I could not speak in front of them. They said that he is not confident, how will he even talk?’

Eventually, Govinda achieved success as an actor, and in another interview, he said that at one time he had so much money that he did not know what to do with it.
