Olivia Rodrigo Reveals Her Relationship Status.
Olivia Rodrigo has refused to say if she is single or in a relationship. In addition to dating Disney co-stars like Ethan Wacker and Joshua Bassett, the pop singer has gone a bit tight-lipped about her current relationship, explaining that she “doesn’t kiss and tell” but can “understand” why others may be curious about her personal life.
Olivia Rodrigo told Vogue, when asked if she is currently single, “I don’t know! I don’t tell and kiss. It’s an intriguing concept to consider. I get it. While I could sit here and say, “I don’t understand why people do that,” I am forever doing it.”
Olivia didn’t go into detail about her current love life, but she did talk about what she wants from the future. “I’m so excited to experience motherhood one of these days,” she said. “It’s something that I’m thinking about most of the time.”
Meanwhile, the ‘vampire’ hitmaker, who rose to fame in 2020 with her viral track ‘drivers licence’ after being on Instagram, went on to explain that, despite having been singing and writing music since she was a child, her first attempts at a career were met with confusion.
Olivia Rodrigo recalls making up songs about being lost in the grocery store with a microphone from the Dollar Tree. I was constantly singing. I was always eager to get things done. When I was 13, I was in a meeting and they asked me what I wanted my brand to be, and I was like, ‘I don’t even know what I want to wear tomorrow.’ “My understanding was that the younger you are, the more likely you are to be successful in the music industry.”
She must force herself to write every morning because of the massive success of her debut album ‘SOUR’, in which she topped the charts around the world. Olivia will release her new album ‘GUTS’ later this year.
Olivia is also not afraid to speak out on controversial issues. She previously visited the White House to urge young people to get the COVID-19 vaccine, and she spoke out about the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in her Vogue interview. “I think it’s sickening,” she confessed. “It’s terrifying. It’s a frightening reality.” Olivia’s sophomore album is set to be released on September 8, 2023.
