Beautiful Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is someone who has opted to stay away from the entertainment industry for quite some time. But recently she spoke about the lead role in the blockbuster film ‘Animal’, which is played by Rashmika Mandanna. It is being said that initially, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga planned to cast Parineeti Chopra as Geetanjali in the film. However, due to schedule-related problems between Parineeti and the director, Parineeti had to turn down the offer.

Now almost a year after the film was released and became a blockbuster film, Parineeti has broken her silence about declining the role of Geetanjali in the film and has made a big statement. Ranbir Kapoor’s starrer film, ‘Animal’ earned more than Rs 900 crore at the box office. Despite this, Parineeti Chopra has no regrets about her decision to opt out of the film.

Let us tell you that in a recent interview, Parineeti Chopra revealed, ‘I think God had something better for me. I was doing Animal, almost everything was done. But on the same dates I was offered Amar Singh Chamkila with Diljit Dosanjh.’ The actress further said, ‘I was offered many songs, I was singing songs composed by AR Rahman. Imtiaz Ali is my dream director. I was offered a lot more, so I chose Chamkila.’

Talking about the film, Parineeti further added, ‘I think I don’t regret it, I am happy.’ Let us tell you that in Chamkila film, Parineeti Chopra played the role of Amarjot, the wife of the late Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila which was played by Diljit Dosanjh. The film was released on Netflix and was critically acclaimed for Parineeti Chopra’s performance. Raghav Chaddha also revealed, ‘When Parineeti returned to India, she came straight to Punjab. We kept meeting and the relationship grew stronger over time.’
