‘I Feel Insulted’: Archana Gautam, Tejasswi Prakash Lock Horns In Latest Reality Show
Celebrity MasterChef, the latest addition to the popular cooking competition genre, premiered last week and is already stirring up drama along with showcasing the culinary talents of various celebrities. The show has quickly grabbed attention not just for its cooking challenges but also for the on-screen tension between the contestants. A new promo has stirred excitement, hinting at a heated exchange between Bigg Boss 16 fame Tejasswi Prakash and actress Archana Gautam.
In the promo, the celebrity contestants arrive at a luxurious five-star hotel, where they are tasked with preparing dishes as part of the day’s challenge. However, when it comes time to pair up for the task, none of the contestants choose Archana Gautam. This situation leads to a tense moment as host Farah Khan asks, “Archana, tereko kisine choose nahi kiya?” (No one chose you, Archana?).
Archana responds, clearly upset, “Insult feel hota hain, pata hain,” (I feel insulted, you know). She then speaks to fellow contestants Rajiv Adatia and Faisal Shaikh to vent her frustration. The atmosphere intensifies when Tejasswi Prakash, donning her apron for the challenge, remarks, “Tumhe unhone bhi select kiya nahi tha” (They didn’t choose you either). Archana’s sharp retort surprises everyone: “Mein thuk ke nahhi chatungi Tejasswi” (I won’t take e U-turn, Tejasswi). The judges remain silent as Tejasswi tries to explain, but Archana cuts her off with, “Samjhi tum?” (Do you understand?). Tejasswi, visibly irritated, snaps, “No, stop!”
The promo, uploaded with the caption “Khana se zyada toh mahaul garam ho gaya hai” (The atmosphere is more heated than the food), promises a lot of drama in the upcoming episodes. It airs Monday to Friday at 8 PM on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
The conflict between the two celebrities isn’t the first time tensions have risen on the show. Earlier, during a team task, Archana Gautam was paired with actress Usha Nadkarni, but the two didn’t get along well, engaging in frequent arguments.
Celebrity MasterChef features a star-studded lineup of contestants, including Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Nikki Tamboli, Abhijeet Sawant, Rajiv Adatia, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh, Chandan Prabhakar, and Gaurav Khanna. The show is judged by renowned chefs Ranveer Brar, Farah Khan, and Vikas Khanna, with Farah making her debut as a judge in the culinary competition space.
