“I Have Kidney Problems And Didn’t Have Enough Money For Surrogacy”, Ashwini Kaleskar Opened Up On Being Unable To Conceive

One of the most talented Bollywood actresses Ashwini Kalsekar is known for the character of ‘Jigyasa’ in the daily TV soap ‘Kasam Se’. Let us tell you that the actress recently attended an interview with Siddharth Alambayan. When she was asked if she and Murali had considered having children, the actress revealed that she and her husband wanted children just like any other couple. However, she has kidney problems and does not know much about surrogacy at that time.

Talking about the struggles of becoming a mother, the actress said, “To be honest, we tried a lot but as I said I have kidney problems and surrogacy was not in vogue back then. We did not have that much money. We were still settling down, struggling, and then tried again, and at one point the doctor said your kidneys will not be able to take the load. So you will either harm yourself or the baby and then it did not happen.”

Ashwini further revealed that age has caught up with her and after some time, a woman’s body is not mentally or physically fit to run after a small child. She said, “I could not have a child. Well, it was a matter of fate, right? I feel bad. I wanted to live the whole circle but I could not. Maybe I had to serve my mother-in-law, father-in-law, and parents and they are with us so I am doing that.”
