‘I Used To Cry At Home While Shooting For Laila Majnu’ Tripti Dimri Opens Up On Choosing Acting As Her Career

Tripti Dimri who made her debut with Laila Majnu has gained so much fame from the film ‘Animal’ that she has a line of films in her hands now. Tripti got immensely popular with her role as ‘Bhabhi 2’ in the film ‘Animal’. Now the actress has many films releasing this year, which will be full of romance, thriller, suspense, and horror. However, these days the actress is in the news for her upcoming film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. Now recently, the actress revealed that during the shooting of ‘Laila Majnu’ she used to go home and cry out a lot.

During this Tripti also admitted that when she came to Mumbai she did not even know the ‘A’ of acting. In a recent interview with one of the media houses, Tripti shared that she initially had no interest in acting and did not consider it a career option. While talking about her career choice the actress said, “I just wanted to do something different. I was never good at academics. I told my parents that I was going to try modeling.”

The actress further revealed that her parents were initially quite scared about her moving to Mumbai all alone. And this was especially because of her nature of being a shy and introverted person who had never stepped out of Delhi. They were also not happy with the industry or her decision to enter modeling at first.

Instead of this all, the actress decided to pursue it so that she would not regret it later. Tripti further revealed that years later, she got a role in the 2017 film Poster Boys. But working with Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Shreyas Talpade was difficult for her as she did not know the ‘A’ of acting. So, according to her, she did not perform well in it. She further revealed that she used to come home and cry during the shooting of Laila Majnu. The actress said, “I used to go home and cry, thinking ‘Am I doing the right thing?’ Because I couldn’t understand what they were saying or their language.”
