Kolkata International Film Festival means a lot to lots of movie lovers in Kolkata and it already started with the Bollywood star-studded evenings. The festival will run till 12th December and in a special event, Salman Khan Sonakshi Sinha, Mahesh Bhat, and Anil Kapoor were there as special guests. This day, Salman Khan stunned everyone by making some remarkable comments on Kolkata Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Salman’s Revelations at the Stage
Salman came to Kolkata a few months before the Kolkata International Film Festival for a concert. That time he visited the house of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Mamata welcomed him. But not just for a meeting, Salman went there to verify one thing. But what is this? Bhaijaan expressed this at the stage of the Kolkata International Film Festival.
Standing on the stage, Salman revealed that he wanted to validate one thing when he received the invitation to visit the home of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He wanted to see whether the chief minister of Kolkata is staying in a home which is smaller than Salman’s home or not. He also expressed that once he went to the house of Anil Kapoor in Mumbai and at every floor he thought that this floor was the actual home. Later he discovered that Anil Kapoor lives in the entire Five storied building. On the other hand, Salman discovered that Kolkata Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee lives in a smaller house size than Salman’s house. Salman further said that he was happy with his moderate-sized house, but Didi or Mamata Banerjee’s room is smaller than Salman’s room. He said that he felt jealous to see this. He learnt newly that how a dignified person can live happily within a small house.
Salman’s Homely Feelings for Kolkata
That day Salman spoke with a little Bengali accent and his fans adored him a lot. He said in a Bengali accent “I love you’’ or Ami Tomake Bhalobasi and “How are you?’’ or Kemon achho which overwhelmed his fans. But in a friendly tone, he expressed that whatever he had prepared to say at the stage of the festival had already been revealed by Anil Kapoor, Mahesh Bhat or even Sonakshi Sinha. The day of the Kolkata International Film Festival turned sparkling with the diva’s speech, performance, friendly tone and lots of laughter and fun…just like another home to Bollywood Divas.
