Recently, Karisma Kapoor recalled the golden time and said, ‘I consider myself very lucky that I got the opportunity to work with all the Khans in different films. We were all young and emerging at the same time. All the actors, including Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and even Govinda, are very different from each other. I tried to learn something from each one of them.’

She further explained how working with her co-actors shaped her craft, ‘In Aamir’s case, he is very particular about what he does. He does a lot of rehearsals. Salman is the complete opposite; he just comes on set, does something, and it turns out great. With Shah Rukh, he is extremely helpful and cares a lot about his co-actors. These are some of the things I learnt from him. For example, Govinda was a great dancer, and slowly I learnt to match steps with him. He was so amazing.’

I remember telling my mother about one of his stage performances at Shanmukhanand Hall with Neelam.’
