For the unversed, in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had taken over the case from Bihar and Mumbai police. NCB had arrested Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty under the NDPS act and during the interrogation, names of Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan had emerged for their alleged involvement in the drug nexus.
Deepika, Shraddha and Sara were summoned by the NCB on September 26, 2020, wherein the Kedarnath debutante had reportedly admitted to smoking cigarettes but refuted consuming any kind of drugs. While Sara was probed for the drug nexus in B-town and her father, Saif Ali Khan was rumoured to have distanced himself from her, Amrita Singh and Ibrahim Ali Khan are standing as pillars of strength for the 25-year-old starlet.
Before Sara Ali Khan was summoned by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), she was spending time with her friends, brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan and mother, Amrita Singh in Goa. On September 24, 2020, Amrita, Sara and Ibrahim had returned to Mumbai and on September 26, the 25-year-old star-kid was probed by the NCB. While NCB had recorded Sara’s statement and there are no reports on her being summoned again, the dark clouds have still not faded away.
Amidst the whole scenario, Ibrahim shared a note on ‘going through hell’ on his IG handle and quoting former UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill, wrote, “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” Sara’s film, Coolie No. 1 got a release date on Amazon Prime and to cheer for his sister, Ibrahim shared the poster on his IG story and wrote, “Let’s go @saraalikhan95 @varundvn”.
Reports were rife that Saif Ali Khan had distanced himself from his daughter, Sara Ali Khan after her name had emerged in B-town’s drug nexus. A Times of India report had stated that Saif had refused to help Sara in her case but her grandmother, Sharmila Tagore is trying her best to help her granddaughter.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Saif had rubbished the rumours and spoke about the relationship he shares with his three kids, Sara, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Taimur Ali Khan.
