Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been seen getting angry many times at those who criticize his films. Now the name of actor Adil Hussain has also been added to this list, who played the role of college dean in the film ‘Kabir Singh’ directed by Vanga. Adil Hussain had expressed regret over being a part of a film like Kabir Singh, which was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. After this, Sandeep Reddy Vanga also criticized Adil a lot. However, Adil has once again targeted Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In an interview, Adil shared that he stands by his statement and he will never be a part of a film like Animal even if he is given a huge amount like Rs 200 crore.

Reacting to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s statement, Adil said, “What do I say to this? I think there are so many responses to this comment. If he is more famous than Ang Lee, I don’t know what to say… It’s very unfortunate that he thinks like that. His film did a lot of business at the box office, so maybe he thinks like that. I don’t know the exact figures of Kabir Singh, but Life of Pi did more than a billion dollars, so I don’t think he can compete with that. He should have thought about it before saying this.”

Adil also said that he hadn’t seen Vanga’s Animal and said that it was not his favorite film. When he was further asked if he would have played any role in Animal, Adil immediately replied, “Never. Even if they offer me Rs 100-200 crore, I will never do it.” Adil also said that Sandeep had said that Adil is doing ’30 art films’. I think this should not be taken seriously as it is a reactionary comment and there is nothing true in it.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal was one of the biggest hits of last year. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri, the film received backlash from audiences and critics for promoting violence and misogyny. The film already has a sequel ready.
