This year is proving to be a year of weddings, since after Sonu aka Jheel Mehta of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, now popular serial ‘Imlie’ actress Megha Chakraborty is also going to get married. As soon as the new year 2025 started, she got engaged to the love of her life and her long-term boyfriend Sahil Phull. After getting engaged now she is ready to take the wedding vows with him.

It is being said that when Sahil surprised Megha by proposing to her on January 1, the actress took to social media to express her feelings. Posting ring ceremony photos on her Instagram handle, the actress wrote, ‘New year, new beginning, as we welcome 2025 with hope and gratitude, we are making another announcement that we are going to get married.’

It is reported that the actress Megha Chakraborty and Sahil will get married on January 21 in their hometown Jammu. The actress said that only family and close friends will attend the ceremony and it will be done in a grounded manner and now the showoff will be there. She told one of the media houses, ‘Before the wedding, we will do Haldi and other rituals.’

On the proposal, she said, ‘Sahil surprised me by proposing to me in Goa on January 1. Then soon we decided to get married. Now we are busy preparing for our wedding.
