Fans of Bollywood actor Imran Khan are excited about his return to the spotlight and cannot wait to see him back on screen. They are just as interested in his personal life as they are in his professional endeavours. Recently, Imran affirmed he is dating Lekha Washington, and now Lekha has made their relationship official.

Lekha posted their first photo together on Instagram on Thursday. A tender moment between the couple is captured in the heartfelt picture. Lekha posted the picture to her Instagram Stories without adding a caption.

Their silhouettes can be seen in the picture, posing in front of the sea against the blue sky background. They are both holding each other tightly and staring at each other. Following their confirmation of their relationship, this is the couple’s first official social media post.

In a recent interview, Imran opened up about how he started dating Lekha, admitting he was trying hard to hide it. He shared, adding, “Lekha has been a tremendously positive and healthy influence in my life as a person; she is caring, supportive, and loving to a fault. She has been very helpful. As I’ve grappled with depression and rebuilt myself, the kind of nurturing and support that I’ve gotten from her, I don’t know that I would have been able to make this journey without her.”.

According to rumours, the couple rented a Mumbai home together. Director Karan Johar has leased the flat to Imran and Lekha in the Bandra neighbourhood of the city. The monthly rent for the flat is 9 lakh.

Imran’s Past

Prior to that, in 2011, Imran wed Avantika Malik. However, in 2019, they separated. They are parents to a daughter, Imara. In 2019, there were rumours of their spilt, but neither Imran nor Avantika addressed them.

It was reported a year ago that Imran and Avantika had made the decision to part ways. During the lockdown in 2020, Imran became close to Lekha.
