Actor Arjun Kapoor paid tribute to his late mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor. The actor posted a monochromatic photo of himself posing on the roof of a building, gazing up into the sky. Arjun commented on the post, saying he worries whether his mother is watching him. He wrote, “Always wondering if she’s watching me from up there.” The actor from ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ added the hashtag ‘my mommy bestest’ to his post.
Mona Shourie Kapoor was Boney Kapoor’s first wife before he married Sridevi. In 1996, Boney and Mona divorced. Arjun and Anshula Kapoor are the children of Boney and Mona Kapoor. Arjun’s mother was battling cancer at the time, and she died in 2012. Arjun’s mother died barely a few weeks before the release of his Bollywood first film, Ishaqzaade.
Arjun was recently seen with Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez in the film Bhoot Police. The actor’s next project is Aasmaan Bhardwaj’s Kuttey, on which he has already begun work. Arjun also has Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns.
Aside from that, he’ll be seen in The Lady Killer, where he’ll show off his wizardry. The movie will be directed by Ajay Bahl and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Sailesh R Singh, stars Bhumi Pednekar as the main lady.
In other news, Arjun Kapoor has released the international party anthem ‘Fentiro – The Reason.’ The actor even expressed his enthusiasm for the song on social media. The enticing song and swaggering rhythms of “Fentiro – The Reason” will have listeners dancing from dark until dawn. This song includes English rap and is the studio’s first push into the worldwide party music genre. In 2022, the studio plans to release additional worldwide party tunes.
