‘In This Matter I Am Like Dhoni, We Keep Playing ipls’ Shahrukh Khan On His Retirement Plans

Shahrukh Khan is one such Bollywood actor in the industry who has fans not only in India but all over the world. Now recently, at an award ceremony, filmmaker Karan Johar asked the actor about his retirement plan. The actor’s answer to this question of Karan is winning the hearts of the fans.

During the conversation on the stage, Shahrukh Khan told how legendary players like Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Chhetri, and Roger Federer know the right time to retire from the game which gives them a unique identity. Director Karan Johar then jokingly asked the king of romance why when he is also a legend, doesn’t think about his retirement plans. Shahrukh jokingly replied to this statement and said, “In this case, I am like Dhoni, we play 10 IPLs even after saying no.”

Earlier, at an award function, Shah Rukh was asked what would happen to romance in the industry after his retirement. The filmmaker asked, “You live in a bungalow called Mannat, but have you ever thought of living in an apartment?” To this, Shah Rukh replied, “It cannot happen because no one can be above me. I am the ceiling of actors,” the audience applauded loudly.

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film will go on the floor in January and will also star Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana Khan. It is reported that the team may announce the film with a video teaser on Shah Rukh’s birthday, November 2.
