Internet Cringes Out Looking At Ibrahim-Khushi’s Promo Stunt For Nadaaniyan

Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is gearing up for his acting debut with Netflix’s upcoming romantic drama Nadaaniyan. Starring alongside him is Khushi Kapoor, daughter of late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor. The film, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, promises a heartwarming tale of first love.

On Tuesday, the young actors released a promotional video for the film, teasing the upcoming teaser and release date. However, their exaggerated performances in the clip left a section of the internet unimpressed, with many calling it cringeworthy.

Internet Reacts to Ibrahim and Khushi’s Viral Clip

In the video shared by Khushi Kapoor on Instagram Reels, Ibrahim is seen eagerly trying to meet her, but she dismisses him, saying the shoot is over. Left in tears, Ibrahim reacts dramatically, while Khushi captions the post with a playful nod to the film’s song Galatfehmi.

However, social media users were quick to criticize the promotional strategy. A Reddit post featuring the video questioned, “Ibrahim and Khushi… What kind of promotion is this?” The top comment bluntly responded, “The cringe kind.”

Another user questioned the target audience, stating, “Who is this meant for? The youth will outright reject this looking at the cringey promotions! Will the TikTok generation even enjoy this movie? I doubt it.”

Many also commented on Ibrahim’s on-screen presence, with one remarking, “His aura is fading day by day.” The conversation quickly shifted to criticism of star kids and their industry advantages, with a user writing, “The bar keeps getting lower for these nepo kids every day.”

Some suggested the actors needed better social media management, with one comment stating, “They have access to the best resources in the industry but don’t know how to use them.” Another harshly added, “They need to fire whoever came up with this idea.”
