Recently, Ira Khan shared a selfie video on her Instagram, where she talked about the incidents that have happened with her over the years. She also talked about facing sexual harassment at the age of 14. Talking about Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s separation, Ira mentioned that the fact never traumatised her, she did not feel like their separation bothered her, even her tuberculosis didn’t make her feel horrible.

In the video shared by Ira Khan, she says, “I was really young when my parents got divorced. But that to me was not something that would traumatise me. It didn’t scar me. They were always there for us. They never pressurised us with anything. When I was six I got Tuberculosis and even that didn’t make me feel horrible.”

“My parents were very good about being parents to Junaid and me, even after divorce. And when people would say ‘Oh I am so sorry to hear about your parents’ divorce, I would be like (shrugs) ‘What are you talking about? It is not a bad thing. Another privilege I didn’t realise. It could be something that could scar you. It didn’t scar me. I don’t remember most of it but I didn’t feel like my parents’ divorce is something that could bother me. So that can’t be the reason why I am feeling so sad,” she further added.
