Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 is all set to hit the theaters in August. The actors are busy promoting their films nowadays. Fans are waiting to witness the magic of Tara Singh and Sakeena again on the big screen. Ahead of its release, the film is receiving positive comments from fans. After releasing the first song Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava of Gadar 2, now, that the makers are all set to release the reprise version of another popular song from the 2001 film. A new report claimed that singer Arijit Singh is set to recreate the famous Main Nikla Gaddi Leke for the second installment of Gadar.

Recently, a source told News18 Showsha, “When they decided to recreate the song, the idea was not to tamper with the original yet add some freshness to it. The makers along with Mithoon (music director) decided to bring in a new voice and everyone decided that Arijit Singh would be the right choice for the song.” The singer will recreate the famous song alongside Udit Narayan who sang the original track in Gadar.

They also added that the original version of Main Nikla Gaddi Leke become a super hit. The song continues to be hit even after 22 years as it can be heard at parties and marriage functions.

Another source confirmed the news about Arijit singing the reprise version. They added that the makers did not make any major revisions to the original track. They did not want to change the spirit of a classic that people have loved for so many years.
