In a recent interview with Bollywood Life, Ami shared that she has been receiving lewd comments and negative messages from viewers personally, including hurtful comments from women. She expressed her frustration, stating that she’s just an actress and questioned why people are becoming so personal. Amy further revealed that some individuals have even sent her messages insinuating that she’ll understand when her own son leaves her. She responded by reminding them that she’s just playing a role and that there’s no need to bring her family into it. She emphasised that personal attacks on her family or children are hurtful to her.

Manjari, the character Ami portrays, doesn’t support the idea of Akshara and Abhimanyu being together in the show.
