While the central government has declared a two-day national mourning on the death of Lata ji, popularly known as Swar Kokila, many states have also declared state mourning. Meanwhile, now the government has decided to issue a postage stamp in honor of late singer Lata Mangeshkar. The legendary singer was awarded Bharat Ratna. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave information about this during this program on Monday. Significantly, famous singer Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on January 8 after being infected with corona. During this, after Corona, she was hit by pneumonia. After 28 days of long treatment, she gave his last breath on Sunday i.e., 6 February.


Everyone was shocked to hear the news of the death of Lata Mangeshkar. Anyone who heard this news on Sunday found it hard to believe. At the same time, many celebrities from different fields including entertainment, politics and sports joined to attend the last journey of music.

Not only this, the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi himself also paid tribute to Lata ji by visiting Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Lata Mangeshkar has been cremated with state honors at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. During this, many artists including Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Piyush Goyal, Shahrukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shankar Mahadevan and Javed Akhtar were present.
