Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuchha has made a special place in the hearts of audiences with her brilliant performances. Coming from a non-filmy background, the actress has done wonders with her films after taking her own time. Nushrratt who tasted success with Luv Ranjan’s popular franchise ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ once revealed how her family reacted to her sensuous outfit in the song ‘Chhote Chhote Peg’ from her film ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’.

Making the surprising revelation during her old interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Nushrratt said that all her family members- father, mother and grandmother were shocked by her bold outfit for the track. They were a little taken aback and even asked her, ‘‘Yeh kya hai? Is that a bra that you are donning?’. To this, the actress stopped for a second and said, ‘It’s a bralette. There’s a term used in styling. People wear it.”

Nushrratt added that later her family understood the reason behind her wearing such an outfit. Her family got over it soon as Nushrratt did not face any criticism for her dress. “It worked well for me. I looked nice in it and everybody praised the song. It t became a hit. I think they kind of understood there is a reason why certain things are done in a certain way. It doesn’t take away from who I am in actual. My image did not spoiled in any way so it was easy for them to get over it,” stated Nushrratt.

Workwise, Nushrratt Bharuchha who is famous for films like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, ‘Dream Girl’, ‘Chhorii’, ‘Ram Setu’, and ‘Chhalaang’ appeared last in V. V. Vinayak’s action film ‘Chatrapathi’ alongside Bellamkonda Sreenivas. The film which came out on 12 May 2023 failed to leave a mark on the box office.
