Niharika Konidela, niece of the south superstar Chiranjeevi is seen shaking a leg with a Telugu actor Santosh Sobhan. The reel shows them dancing  to the now popular song ‘Merise Merise ‘ from the movie ‘Anni Manchi Sakunamle’. Niharika is the first woman from the Konidela family to enter into the movie industry. She is the first cousin of the RRR star Ram Charan. She acted in Telugu films ‘Oka Manasu’ and ‘Happy Wedding’.

Niharika and Chaitanya separation

Niharika Konidela had married Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, a business strategist in a leading MNC in Hyderabad, in a very lavish wedding. They tied the knot in 2020 in Udaivilas resort in Udaipur. But earlier last month, the speculations of their separation started doing rounds with Chaitanya and Niharika unfollowing each other on Instagram. They both also deleted their wedding photos from their social media accounts. Neither Niharika nor Chaitanya have denied or confirmed the rumours.

Niharika drug controversy

In April last year, in a major narcotics raid in a five star hotel in Hyderabad, police had detained Niharika Konidela among many other celebrities and bigshots. However, later Nagbabu, Niharika’s father clarified that she had been detained only because she was present in the pub at that time and she had nothing to do with the drugs recovered. He requested everyone to stop spreading any rumours on his daughter.

On the workfront

With Niharika now again focusing on her acting career and regularly updating on Instagram, netizens are asking if they have been divorced? Recently, Niharika shared her work out routine from the gym with cryptic messages like, “Time heals all”, “You are stronger than you think”, “You are enough” captioned ‘Note to self’. These messages once again sparked the rumours of divorce. With the recent reel of her dancing with the young actor, netizens have now asked if she found a new boyfriend in Santosh Sobhan. Previously, there were some news reports that Santosh Sobhan would play the lead role in Chiranjeevi’s daughter’s next production.

Santosh Sobhan will be seen in Nandini Reddy directed Anni Manchi Sakunamle opposite Malavika Nair. It will be released on May 18, 2023. Niharika Konidela meanwhile will be seen in Disney plus hotstar Telugu’s show ‘ Dead Pixels’. It is the Indian remake of the original UK based sitcom with the same name. Dead Pixels focuses on the obsession of three friends on an online game.
