Besides his acting career, Ishaan Khatter passionately indulges in biking adventures, often navigating his robust machine through challenging terrains. Alongside his brothers Shahid Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu, they form a biking group, frequently embarking on thrilling vacations.
“Biking Adventures Unleashed: Ishaan Khatter’s Call for Mira Rajput to Join the Ride”
In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Ishaan expressed his wish for Mira, his ‘bhabhi,’ to be part of their biking escapades, despite her not being a rider. He asserted that the fun shouldn’t be exclusive to boys, envisioning Mira seated, perhaps in a sidecar with his brother Shahid, reminiscent of Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
Ishaan elaborated on their daring journeys, involving hills, hairpin turns, and occasionally venturing into high-altitude routes. He playfully suggested the excitement of seeing Mira hanging off a cliff, although acknowledging the limited space for a sidecar in some precarious routes.
Ishaan Khatter Leads in Gripping Tale of 1971 Indo-Pakistan War
Ishaan Khatter is currently earning acclaim for his OTT release, Pippa. The film presents a gripping account of a historic moment – the Battle of Garibpur during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, a pivotal episode in Bangladesh’s quest for independence.
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala for RSVP and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s Roy Kapur Films, and directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the movie showcases Ishaan in the role of real-life war hero Captain Balram Singh Mehta. The cast also includes Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan in significant roles.
Adapted from Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta’s book ‘The Burning Chaffees,’ the film’s script is crafted by Menon, Tanmay Mohan, and Ravinder Randhawa. A.R. Rahman, the maestro, enriches the narrative with soul-stirring music, creating an immersive backdrop for this tale of patriotism and sacrifice. Premiering exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide, Pippa is an action thriller named after the PT-76 amphibious war tank, colloquially known as “Pippa” due to its resemblance to an empty tin of ghee floating smoothly on water.
This wartime saga narrates a story of patriotism and heroism and traces the coming of age of Captain Balram Mehta (essayed by Ishaan) of the 45 Cavalry Tank Squadron. Together, Balram Mehta and the Indian Armed Forces exemplify valour and courage, in a war for the liberation of another country, and redefine what it means to be a hero.
