‘Isn’t Fit To Be Singer’: Yo Yo Honey Singh Fuels Feud with Badsha, Endorses Fan’s Criticism
The long-standing rift between rappers Yo Yo Honey Singh and Badshah shows no signs of resolution. In a recent move, Honey Singh lent his support to a fan’s Instagram Reel that questioned Badshah’s credibility as a singer.
The fan, Ridey Behl, who uses the Instagram handle @rideyay, shared a Reel where he criticized Badshah’s role as a judge on Indian Idol. “Recently, I made a Reel about Badshah, which Honey Singh liked. I said Badshah isn’t fit to be an Indian Idol judge, and his fans started abusing me in the comments and DMs,” said Ridey in the video.
Despite initial indications that he might apologize, Ridey doubled down on his remarks. “I apologise to all Badshah fans for being his fans. I also apologise for saying he isn’t fit to judge Indian Idol – because he isn’t even fit to be a singer! What’s the point of abusing me? If I say I used Honey Oak perfume today, will you abuse me for that too? There’s a honeycomb in my bathroom – does Badshah never have honeycombs in his house?” he quipped.
Honey Singh Shows Support
Honey Singh not only liked Ridey’s Reel but also left a supportive comment: “Yo Yo Army is with you, lil’ bro! Don’t worry.” Ridey pinned the comment on his post, further amplifying the rapper’s endorsement.
The feud took center stage recently when Honey Singh addressed it in an interview with India Today. “People ask me about my fight with Badshah. A fight needs both parties involved. For 10 years, he mocked me, abused me in his songs, and insulted my illness. I stayed silent until this year when my fans urged me to speak up. He apologized but is the kind who spits and licks it back. I don’t consider people like him worth anything,” Honey Singh remarked.
A Battle of Careers
While the feud continues to make headlines, both artists remain active in their careers. Honey Singh’s documentary, Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, recently premiered on Netflix India. Meanwhile, Badshah is serving as a judge on Indian Idol 15 alongside Vishal Dadlani and Shreya Ghoshal.
With neither side willing to back down, the rivalry between the two rappers continues to captivate fans and dominate social media discussions.
