Talking about working with Rakul Preet, she said, “Usually female actors do not get a chance to do comedy films. I love watching comedy films. In this film, both the female actors have taken comedy forward, as you used to see in the Number One series films in the 90s, in which actresses used to do comedy. So, we have done something similar.” In the film, Arjun Kapoor tries to fix his ex-wife Bhumi and tells her the truth. Bhumi also now wants to get Arjun back, after which her war with Rakul begins.

Bhumi also put forward her point about doing a film with Rakul Preet Singh. She said, “She is like my sister. She is married to my best friend Jackky Bhagnani and now she has become one of my closest friends. It is said that two actresses are insecure together, however, this is not true and it must have been started by some men who are not insecure themselves. There is nothing wrong between us, rather we had a lot of fun shooting the film.”
