South Indian film ‘Kantara’ has garnered appreciation not only in the South industry but all over the world for its unique content and strong acting of the entire cast. The film was also received with open arms in the Hindi belt and was a big hit. Due to its brilliant work and unique storyline, the film also won the National Award. Now actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty, who won two National Film Awards for his hit film ‘Kantara’, shared his experiences in a conversation with PTI.

Let us tell you that Shetty is currently working on the prequel of Kantara. The actor described the award received by the film as the result of the blessings received by the people. The actor said in a conversation with PTI, ‘There are many stories that I want to tell about what I have seen in society. These are the people who made the first film such a big hit. We have to give better content to our audience and make the film more engaging. Since we understand that we have to entertain people more and work harder.

Made by Hombale Films on a reported budget of Rs 16 crore, ‘Kantara’ grossed over Rs 400 crore worldwide. The all-rounder entertainer won a National Award and earned Shetty his first Best Actor National Award. When Shetty was asked if he was nervous about the prequel amid the awards, he said he was not worried about it, its just that I get a little stressed out at the time of a film’s release.
