It seems that history will be created in Indian cinema after 46 years, as it is being reported that South superstar Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are going to do a film together. These speculations were going on for many days, but now Kamal Haasan himself has confirmed it and stated that he will be seen on screen with Rajinikanth after 46 years.

Let us tell you that Kamal Haasan announced this at the ‘Nexa Sima Awards 2025’ in Dubai. When he was asked whether the news of reuniting with Rajinikanth is true, he also agreed and said, ‘We had become one long time ago, but chose to live separately because he used to divide a biscuit and give us half each. We both wanted a full biscuit each, and we got that, and we enjoyed it. Now we are again satisfied with half a biscuit, and that’s why we have come together.’

Apart from this, he also broke the silence about the competition with Rajinikanth, who is considered to be one of the most successful actors of South. He said, ‘It is a big deal for us to get such opportunities. We had decided long ago that we would remain like this and set an example. He has been like this and I have been like this too. So even though this reunion is surprising business-wise, we are not that surprised, as it is a normal thing for both of us. We are just happy that what should have happened a long time ago is happening now.’,

Let us tell you that even though Kamal Haasan has confirmed the film with Rajinikanth, he has not shared any details about the movie. It is being said that filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing the film, and he is the same person who has directed ‘Coolie’ with Rajinikanth and Kamal’s 2022 release ‘Vikram’. When the film will be released is yet to be known, and further information will be released soon.
