“It’s Not About Box Office Numbers,” Says KGF Chapter 2 Star Yash On Dealing With Inferiority Complex

Yash, a Kannada actor, catapulted to stardom as a pan-Indian actor with just  KGF, which shattered box office records. Yash began his career in television and went on to act in a few Kannada films and then became a South Indian celebrity without limits. As the child of a bus driver, though, Yash has gone a long way on his own, by sheer dedication and hard work, and his journey has been incredible.

Yash discussed how he conquered his inferiority complex and went from being the son of a bus driver to a confident actor in an interview with The Week. He said, “That is my greatest accomplishment. It’s not about my box office receipts or the perks that come with being a celebrity. Every star, I believe, is created in his mind. You must fight the struggle within yourself. People may refer to you as a small-town boy, implying that your English is poor and that you dress inappropriately. But I believe that everything can be learned.”

“If you are confident, everything will fall into place,” he continued, “By confidence, I don’t just mean confidence.” It is said that knowledge eliminates fear. Investigate and learn the trade. If someone mentions cinema, you should study it. Then you’ll comprehend movies to the point where you won’t be terrified. When you don’t know, you’ll be terrified. When studying for an examination, one is not afraid. I believe it all boils down to how much effort you are willing to put forth to achieve your goals. Instead of listening to the world, you should believe in yourself. Even if someone tells you that something is impossible, you can still accomplish it. And if you have that distinctness, there is no competition.

In the meantime, KGF Chapter 2 has continued to survive up to Chapter 1’s expectations. It is extremely rare for a sequel to be as good as the first, but Prashanth Neel made sure to do so, and the audience praised him for it.

The movie has already been declared a box office smash. The cast and crew have been praised for their separate roles, which have been described as epic, goosebumps, adrenaline rush, mayhem, and visual delight. Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films banner is producing KGF Chapter 2. Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Srinidhi are among the film’s ensemble cast members.

Following the incredible success of KGF: Chapter 2, Yash is preparing to release KGF 3.
