Union Minority Welfare Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, who reached Rampur to start the campaign, said that the vaccine is the most effective way to save lives from Corona. But the enemies of the health and well-being of the people have spread misconceptions and rumors about it. As a result, vaccination is decreasing in rural and minority-dominated areas.

The help of religious leaders and self-help groups will be taken to create an environment conducive to vaccination in these areas. With their cooperation, we will make people aware by giving messages and adopting mediums like street plays. Rumors will be put to rest by removing their apprehensions. This campaign will be run across the country by the Ministry of Minority Welfare and the Ministry of Rural Development.
Naqvi said that the government and the society have fought vigorously against the corona pandemic with the determination of caution, sensitivity, restraint. Till now, about 2.5 crore self-help groups were engaged in awareness work, but now with the involvement of religious leaders, the campaign will gain momentum. During his presence in Rampur, Naqvi also discussed with the workers and officials the success of the campaign and appealed to make people aware.
