They believe fame has two sides, and it, like anything else, has benefits and drawbacks. Actress Jacqueline Fernandez reached the zenith of her career, but she also faced the repercussions of her popularity, with too much attention focused on the social media controversies that erupted around her. In the middle of it all, Jacqueline has spoken up about her privacy being breached and things being broadcast about her on social media to Shilpa Shetty on a recent talk show. The Bachchan Pandey actress said that it’s easy to get ‘bitter’ as a result of it all, but she cautioned against it.

Shilpa Shetty asked Jacqueline how she cope with invasions of her privacy on her chat show Shape Of You. Jacqueline responded by saying that she has learned through the years not to let anything transform her into a hateful person. Jacqueline also talked about how information about herself might be written ‘haphazardly’ and without ‘clarification.’ The Bachchhan Paandey singer, on the other hand, stressed that one must stay positive and unaffected by breaches of privacy or anything else.

Talking to Shilpa, Jacqueline said, “For me, what I’ve learned over the years. Don’t let it turn you into a bad person. Don’t let it turn into them. That’s important.” She further said that there are times when on social media there are things that have not been checked and that it’s like a ‘war’ against you. On this, Jacqueline continued, “Very, very easily, it can turn you into a horrible person, a bitter person. Someone upset with the way that people behave can become untrustworthy. Don’t let it change you, don’t let it turn you, don’t let it upset you, don’t let it steal your light. Stay good, stay positive.”

On the work front, Jacqueline will appear in Bachchhan Paandey with Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon. In recent days, she has also been promoting the film. The film will be released on March 18 and stars Jacqueline, Akshay Kumar, and Kriti Sanon.
